Our villa is situated in the place called Petrcane which is distant only 10km from the nearest town of Zadar.Petrčane is a small village whose existence dates back to the 12th century, when it was founded by two brothers, Petar (Peter), and Cane. Throughout the history the inhabitants were surviving mostly by fishing and growing grapevines and olives.Villa Katarina is a family villa built in the year of 1991, with its own beach in front of the house. We have been working with tourist since year 1996. We offer the accommodation in 3 apartments (A1, A2, A3), 2 double rooms (R1, R2), and one Bungalow separated from the house, which is very popular for tourists. Location right by the sea with pebbly beach in front of the house, along with beautiful sea-view from all accommodation units, is what distinguishes our villa from others.
All accommodation units are air-conditioned and have balconies with sea-view. FREE Wi-Fi access is available in all accommodation units. TV with satellite programs is available in all apartments and bungalow, with special set of pay TV programs available in Room no.1.
In the complex of the villa, there is a private bar with large open terrace which serves as a reception and an internet room, and which is free to use for house guests at any time to sit and enjoy meals or drinks (drinks and meals are not served by the house).
On the terrace of our bar, there's also a barbecue, which is free to use for all our guests at any time.
Among other things, we offer free sun-chairs and sun-umbrellas for our guests, which can be taken to beach and used the whole day.The parking place is in the garden, with enough place for 8 cars.
In Petrcane, about 900 m from our villa, there's a court for beach-volleyball, tennis courts, as well as tables for table tennis. Within 700 m distance you can rent jet-ski or try parasailing. Children's playground is distant only 200 m from the villa. Among other things you can rent kayaks or pedal boats. In our villa we offer windsurfing lessons for beginners.
The nearness of the town of Zadar and a small historic town of Nin, as well as four famous Croatian National Parks Plitvice Lakes, Krka Falls, Paklenica on the Velebit mountain and Kornati Islands, offer the opportunity for variety of daily trips.Nearly 10 km of coastline in Petrcane is perfect for walking or jogging. or just sit and relax under the shadow of a Mediterrenean oak tree, and play a game of cards for example.
